Talan's Trees

We are excited to launch Tal’s Trees for 2026 and hope you can help us raise much needed funds to help with both research and development of kinder and less toxic treatments for children, whilst continuing to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms to look out for.

Why

Talan’s Trust was set up in memory of Bude boy Talan Penny who died from a childhood cancer in 2017, he was just 19. A sporty, funny and great friend to all he is missed greatly.

Since Talan’s Trust was founded we have donated £140,000 to the Institute of Cancer research and raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of childhood cancer.
Childhood cancer is the biggest cause of non trauma death in children and young adults, did you know 1 in 500 children in the U.K. will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 14?
Each year over 4000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer.
